When selecting participants, the jury took into account the work experience in the sphere of book illustrating and the potential to represent its most current trends abroad.
The following illustrators will travel to the Livre Paris 2020 Book Salon on the 20th
of March to introduce themselves to the representatives of foreign publishing houses, present their works, visit institutions and galleries that cooperate with book illustrators: Kateryna Didyk (Kyiv) / see the illustrator’s works here
The illustrator works in traditional techniques, as well as digital illustration, and is also engaged in experimental animation. Polina Doroshenko (Kyiv) / see the illustrator’s works here
The Forest Song book with illustrations by Polina is included in The White Ravens, the international catalogue of the best children's books. As a scholarship holder of the National Programme of the Slovak Republic (SAIA) and the programme of the Minister of Culture and National Heritage of the Republic of Poland "Gaude Polonia", Oksana cooperated with the following publishing houses: The Old Lion Publishing House, Nash Format (Our Format), Ranok (Morning), Crocus, Chorni Vivtsi (Black Sheep), KSD (Family Leisure Club), Lilea (Lily), Bukrek.
