Cultural and Natural Heritage of Ukraine
On October 24th, 1945, The Charter of the United Nations that was ratified by representatives of 51 states came into force. Since then, on that day, the world celebrates the creation of United Nations Organizations. Ukraine is an active paricipant of UN, and in 1954 it became the membet of The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
About the 'Cultural and Natural Heritage of Ukraine'
The informational brochure ‘Cultural and Natural Heritage of Ukraine’ was developed by the Ukrainian Institute and Ukraїner in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine and The National Commission of Ukraine for UNESCO. It contains articles about 7 cultural and natural sites of Ukraine which are on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
