The Ukrainian Institute has launched a series of English-language video lectures on the international online platform Google Arts & Culture, offering a global audience a broader perspective on modern and contemporary Ukrainian art.
Kaleidoscope of (Hi)Stories. Art from Ukraine is a collection of video lectures by leading Ukrainian researchers that explore key aspects of Ukraine’s visual culture in the 20th and 21st centuries.
The course moves beyond a traditional chronological approach, uncovering unexpected connections between events, phenomena, and artistic practices. Combining academic rigour with an accessible presentation style, it is valuable both for experts and for anyone interested in understanding Ukrainian art and its place in the global context.
The project Kaleidoscope of (Hi)Stories. Art from Ukraine was conceived and developed by the State Art Collections Dresden (SKD) in partnership with the Ukrainian Institute and supported by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany and the Ernst von Siemens Kunststiftung.
