Serendipity Exchange for the Arts (SEA) is an international professional exchange platform for cultural figures, curators, artists, and cultural managers, aimed at developing cross-sector dialogue and long-term professional contacts.  

The event program combined an introduction to the cultural spaces of Panaji with intensive work in a professional circle. On the first day, participants joined a curatorial walk through the Old PWD Complex, where contemporary photographic practices from the Indian subcontinent and the Arabian Peninsula were presented, and took part in a series of networking events.  

The official part of the program began with a speech by Sunil Kant Munjal, founder of the Serendipity Arts Foundation, and the presentation of the participants and their profiles. An important part of the program was a round table discussion with CultureCon, networking sessions, and curatorial walks organized with the support of the British Council. It was in these formats that a meaningful exchange of experiences took place between representatives of different cultural contexts.  

The final day was devoted to working with public spaces and themes of inclusion and access in the arts. Participants visited cultural spaces – Azad Maidan and the Directorate of Accounts – where exhibitions of visual art and crafts were presented, as well as performances and interdisciplinary formats.  

A special highlight was the panel discussion “Who Gets to Belong? Rethinking Power in the Arts,” dedicated to issues of equality, diversity, and inclusion in the cultural sector.
