Literary Encounters in Wroclaw
The project ‘Literary Encounters in Wroclaw’ is a series of conversations, literary discussions and presentations that took place in Wrocław with four Ukrainian writers: Anastasia Levkova, Iryna Tsilyk, Marichka Paplauskaite, and Pavlo Kazarin. This project was initiated by the Ukrainian Institute.
About the Project
- Anastasia Levkova spoke about Crimea and her book ‘There is a Land Beyond Perekop’.
- Iryna Tsilyk presented a collection of her short prose, ‘Red Marks on Black’, published in Polish translation by Katarzyna Fischer.
- Marichka Paplauskaite spoke about the work of Ukrainian reporters and documentary filmmakers during the war, as well as her new book ‘The Train Arrives on Time’.
- Pavlo Kazarin, writer, journalist and soldier, presented his collection of essays ‘The Wild West of Eastern Europe’, which is being published in Polish translation by Anna Ursulenko.
