Open Call for Ukrainian Producers to participate in international APostLab Post-Production Workshop in Slovenia

The Ukrainian Institute announces an open call for Ukrainian producers of features and series (fiction and documentary) for scholarships to participate in the APostLab workshop.

APostLab workshop is a six-day programme that includes group work and individual consultations. During this intensive workshop, participants, with the guidance of industry professionals, will gain a better understanding of the technical, financial, and creative aspects of post-production in international film production. The programme has been running for over 13 years, and one of its main goals is to teach producers how to plan film post-production even before shooting begins.

Application is open to:

  • Producers who have a feature-length international production fiction/documentary film or series in development, financing, or pre-production stage.
  • The language of the workshop is English.

Based on the selection results, one Ukrainian producer will have the opportunity to receive a full scholarship from APostLab, supported by the Ukrainian Institute. The scholarship covers participation in the educational programme, accommodation, meals, as well as international travel expenses to Slovenia (up to an amount of €250).

The workshop will take place from October 26th to 31st in Ljubljana, Slovenia.

Applications for participation will be accepted until September 3, 2023. Interested professionals can apply for a scholarship to attend the workshop.
