Austrian and Ukrainian musicians will play together with the National Ensemble of Soloists "Kyiv Camera". "With today's concert, the joint project of the Ukrainian Institute and the Austrian Cultural Forum in Kyiv, we officially mark the end of the Cultural Year Austria-Ukraine 2019. We are looking back with joy and happiness at 12 months of intense work, at many beautiful projects and cultural moments in Austria and Ukraine," says Dr Ulf Hausbrandt, Director of the Austrian Cultural Forum Kyiv.
According to Volodymyr Sheiko, Director General of the Ukrainian Institute, despite the completion of this interstate initiative, Ukraine and Austria will continue such fruitful cooperation:

"The Ukrainian Institute implemented a rich programme of cultural diplomacy events in Austria during the Bilateral Cultural Year. It included concerts, public discussions, exhibitions, workshops, artistic residencies, theatre performances, and an interdisciplinary academic conference among others. Such large-scale representation of contemporary Ukraine abroad was possible due to cooperation with numerous Austrian and Ukrainian partners, and support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. We have found not only reliable partners but also great friends, and already have plans for programmes in Austria in 2020."

The Embassy of Ukraine in Austria, the Austrian Cultural Forum in Kyiv, the OeAD Cooperation Office Lviv, and the Ukrainian Institute have implemented over 200 cultural projects in both countries.
