Ukrainian delegation at the Camerimage Film Festival

At the international film festival of cinematographic art Camerimage Festival in Poland, a special program of the KINOKO festival was held, jointly organized with the Ukrainian Institute.


Within the programme, screenings of two winning films of the previous years of the Cinematography Festival “Kinoko” were presented: the drama “Homeward” by Nariman Aliev (director of photography Anton Furs) and the documentary film “Salt from Bonneville” by Simon Mozgovyi (cinematographers: Denys Melnyk, Serhiy Stetsenko, Dmytro Horash).

Seminar about cinematographers at war

Also during the Camerimage festival, the delegation of the Cinematography Art Festival “Kinoko” held a seminar on cinematographers at war, where Andrii Kotliar, Viacheslav Tsvietkov, Khrystyna Lizogub, Denys Melnyk, Anton Yaremchuk and Yaroslav Pilunskyi participated. They shared their own experience of working during the war, talked about filming in extreme conditions and tried to determine how documentary cinema facilitates finding the answers to the questions of the game.

In 2022, the festival took place on November 12-20.
