Music Catalogue showcases Ukrainian best musicians to key agents worldwide.

About the Music Catalogue

The aim of this catalog is to present contemporary Ukrainian classical music, jazz, improvisational music, indie, rock, rap, and world music to international circles and to audiences working in the music industry. This is done in the hope of promoting Ukrainian music abroad, giving it some sense of recognisability, meanwhile giving Ukrainian musicians more opportunity for collaboration and raising their professional standards.

The catalog is distributed among the international actors of the music sector (festivals, showcases, main concert venues, higher musical educational institutions, journalists, music critics), as well as Ukrainian diplomatic missions abroad (embassies and consulates of Ukraine, honorary consulates) and representatives of the Ukrainian diaspora.

Selection

The list of musicians includes 45 solo artists and bands in three styles – contemporary academic music, jazz and mainstream. They were selected by the jury from about 150 applications received by the Ukrainian Institute.
