He was keen on music and performed in many orchestras, in particular in the Chernihiv Philharmonic Center in the folk choir, orchestra of the Military Music Center of the Ukrainian Ground Forces and in the Model Demonstration Orchestra of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

After graduating from Glier Kyiv Municipal Academy of Music, a young musician joined and regularly played in the famous band KVANT, he also worked as a sound engineer and percussion teacher. Andrii was married and together with his wife was raising a daughter. They loved traveling and discovering new places both in Ukraine and Europe. The musician adored the mountains and dreamed of climbing mount Hoverla after the victory.

However, with the beginning of Russia’s full-scale war against Ukraine in 2022, his dreams were cut short, when Andriy went to serve in the 45th Artillery Brigade. Being the best sniper at the course, he became an operator of the javelin anti-tank system. Later he went to the front line. In the army, Andrii had a call sign ‘mathematician’, as he helped his daughter with school math and English from the trenches via the phone. Musician died in battle in June 2022 near Lysychansk, Luhansk oblast, fighting with his unit against dozens of Russian tanks. Even though he was listed missing, his wife Anastasia found the body of her beloved husband by herself, proving the fact of his death.
