The world premiere of the documentary “This Rain Will Never Stop” will take place on November 19 at the IDFA festival in Amsterdam.

The film by Ukrainian director Alina Gorlova will compete for the IDFA award, the world’s most prestigious documentary film festival, which takes place in Amsterdam as part of the First Appearance section.

Most festival screenings take place online from November 18 to December 6. The premiere of “This Rain Will Never Stop” will also take place offline at the Dutch Pathé cinema.

The movie invites viewers to join the visually impressive journey of 20-year-old Andriy Suleiman and his family in an endless cycle of wars. Andriy Suleiman and his father moved from Syria but are facing another military conflict in Ukraine, where he volunteers for the Red Cross.
