The Ukrainian Institute has become a partner of the LIM + Terrarium workshops

The Ukrainian Institute has partnered with the joint educational platform project for screenwriters Less is More (France) and Terrarium (Ukraine). The project aims to support Ukrainian filmmakers with low-budget feature film projects.

The joint LIM programme takes place annually and consists of one-week seminars held over several months, along with a specialized event called LIM MEET, where filmmakers meet with producers, co-producers, and sales agents from across Europe.

Selected screenwriters will receive consultations from European screenwriters during their free stay in European countries. The programme includes free participation in the project and provides scholarships to cover logistical expenses for participants.

This year, the Terrarium platform selected four Ukrainian filmmakers to participate in the program:

  • Kateryna Gornostai
  • Alina Matochkina
  • Stanislav Bytiutskyi
  • Tetiana Symon

The final, third educational and practical session of the LIM workshop will take place from October 10 to 17 in France.

Next year, the Ukrainian Institute will join the participant selection process for the programme.
