The Ukrainian online media Meloport will be featured in a special edition with the French jazz media Citizen Jazz
In Paris, a special edition of the online media Meloport will be presented in collaboration with the French jazz media Citizen Jazz. The solidarity issue in support of Ukrainian musicians will be released on December 15. On this occasion, a jazz evening will take place, organized with the support of the Ukrainian Institute.
The event will consist of three parts: an exhibition, a presentation of the Ukrainian jazz magazine Meloport, and a concert.
Event Schedule:
- 19:00 – Presentation of the Ukrainian jazz magazine Meloport with the participation of the editor-in-chief Katerina Zabluk, Oleksii Karpovitch, co-editor-in-chief of Meloport and Matthieu Jouan, editor-in-chief of Citizen Jazz. .
- 19:30 – Jazz concert at the Centre tchèque in Paris to close the FICEP Jazzycolors Festival featuring a special trio: Sakina Abdou (saxophone), France | Kateryna Ziabliuk (piano), Ukraine | Patrycja Wybrańczyk (drums), Poland.
From 13:00, there will be an exhibition “Ukrainian jazz musicians during the war” – a photo project by the Ukrainian Institute about jazz musicians who have joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and territorial defense.
