Ukrainian delegation of producers at the International Film Festival in San Sebastian
The Ukrainian Institute, in partnership with the Cannes Film Market program Producers Network | Marché du Film, created an opportunity for Ukrainian producers to participate in the industry section of the International Film Festival in San Sebastian, which was held from 22 to 30 September in Spain.
Event programme
Festival Internacional de Cine de Donostia-San Sebastián is one of the most significant cultural events in Europe and the leading film forum of the Spanish-speaking world with a powerful industrial program that, in addition to the European one, covers the Latin American film market.
Selected producers received festival accreditations that allowed them to attend all events of the industrial section (Europe-Latin America Co-Production Forum and Work in Progress activities). They also had the opportunity to establish warm contacts with leading film industry experts and arrange individual meetings with potential partners. In addition, a meeting with the producers was presented in the “Meet Them” programme.

Conditions for the selection of delegation members
To participate, producers must fill out a form, a sample of which is available at the link, in Ukrainian and send it by mail to [email protected]. Applications are accepted until June 26, 23:59 Kyiv time.
All participants will be provided with 4 nights accommodation from 24 to 28 September, as well as transfer from the airport to the hotel and back.
- Ukrainian citizenship;
- minimum age 18;
- fluency in English;
- readiness for public communication;
- impeccable business reputation;
- Proven professional experience: Producers who have produced at least 1 feature film as the main producer, which have been officially selected for international film festivals or released in theaters/streaming platforms, and also have projects in development, are eligible to participate in the competition.
- the activity and position of the applicant does not contradict the principles and values of the UI.
Preference will be given to producers with a legitimate motivation to participate in the film forum and projects in development aimed at entering Spanish-speaking markets.
